No pictures!

Oh no! We forgot to take many pictures in July. We even had another visit from Poppa and Grandma Webster on their way up to Geneva. But no pictures! Charlotte keeps us that busy. These days, she is constantly a girl on the go. Well, that has always been true, so I guess "these days" isn't accurate.

Charlotte still loves to read, and she also loves to stack her books. She's still obsessed with Elmo, but now also knows how to recognize and say all the Sesame Street characters. Well, all except for Bert. Charlotte seems to have something against Bert. She refuses to acknowledge his existence.

Charlotte also enjoys puzzles and anything involving putting shapes into their spots or holes.

Her vocabulary has expanded and she says "thank you Charlotte" anytime you give her something. Unfortunately, the word "mine" is also a part of her vocabulary and she uses it liberally.

Finally, Charlotte has learned to go to bed earlier than 10:00 pm much to the relief of Mom and Dad. Now if we could just get her to sleep in past 5:30 am...

Last night with our visitors

Charlotte put on her fancy pink dress and sweater for our last night out with Gigi, Grandpa C., and Luke. We went out to dinner and then followed it by fun and ice cream at the playground.

Visit to the Museum...Part 2 (Dinosaurs!)

There are lots of big, scary dinosaurs at the Museum, but Charlotte had Luke to protect her.

Visit to the Museum...Part 1

While our visitors were here, we made a visit to one of Charlotte's favorite places, the Durham Museum of Life and Science. Charlotte got to show off all her favorite things.

Can you find Charlotte?

Gigi, Grandpa, and Lucas

Charlotte was very anxious to see her Gigi (Grandma C), Grandpa C., and her cousin, Lucas. At long last, they arrived for a week over the 4th of July. And Charlotte could not have been happier! She LOVED spending time with Luke.
