With the arrival of Eliza, we had to decide whether to start a second blog for Eliza or keep one blog for both girls. Ultimately, we decided to keep one blog. We're horrible as it is with keeping one blog updated and we figured that a lot of the future pictures we take will have both girls anyway. Sadly, Eliza is already getting hand-me-downs and Charlotte is already forced to share with her little sister! But we think they'll understand. : )
We don't want to change the web address for the blog, but we have changed the name to "Charlotte and Eliza and Their Friends".
Thanks to everyone for their love and support our us during this crazy (but wonderful) time in our lives!

Labor Begins
Mom started her first contractions that Saturday evening. Our trip to the museum worked! Mom let Dad and Charlotte sleep that Saturday night while she tried to decide for sure if she was in labor. After a night of no sleep and increasingly worse pains, she finally decided that yes, she was in labor. So she called Poppa and Grandma W. at 5:00 am on Sunday morning (yes, they were probably already awake) and they jumped in the car immediately to head to North Carolina to take care of Charlotte. They arrived around 4:00 that afternoon, as it turns out in plenty of time. Mom and Dad finally headed to the hospital around 10:00 pm on Sunday night and Charlotte stayed home with Poppa and Grandma.
One last Charlotte and Mom visit to the Museum
Dad needed to mow the lawn, so Mom decided to take Charlotte to the museum. Mom also hoped that walking around the outdoor part of the museum might jump start her labor. Stay tuned for the results!

The Baby Shower
Mom's work had a baby shower for us and all of their expecting or newborn families (5! in total). All the babies are GIRLS!
